At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be better able to:
Identify the various types of miliaria and their distinct clinical and histological features to ensure accurate diagnosis.
Implement appropriate management strategies to reduce sweating and prevent duct blockage, including environmental modifications and lifestyle changes.
Select suitable treatments based on the type of miliaria, including topical therapies for miliaria rubra and antibiotics for miliaria pustulosa.
Collaborate with interprofessional healthcare providers for atypical or treatment-resistant miliaria and coordinate comprehensive care addressing clinical and psychosocial aspects.
