Differentiate between anterior and posterior nosebleeds based on clinical presentation.
Screen patients for underlying risk factors and comorbidities contributing to recurrent epistaxis.
Implement appropriate first-line interventions such as direct pressure, cauterization, or nasal packing.
Communicate the importance of improving care coordination among interprofessional team members to improve outcomes for patients affected by epistaxis.
