Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be better able to:
- Identify the various types and severity levels of acne vulgaris through visual examination and patient history.
- Implement evidence-based treatment protocols for acne vulgaris, including topical and systemic therapies, according to individual patient needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients about the causes, triggers, and potential complications associated with acne vulgaris, as well as the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop comprehensive treatment strategies and follow-up care for patients with severe or treatment-resistant acne vulgaris.
